The
Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATI) is a nonprofit organization
formed to promote the highest standard in highway construction
materials sampling and testing through certification
technicians.
ATI certification emphasizes a hands-on approach, that is,
technicians must satisfactorily perform test methods as well
as pass a written exam to receive certification. The
organization is represented by members from the Arizona
Department of Transportation (ADOT), highway contractors,
materials suppliers, materials testing laboratories, Arizona
Rock Products Association (ARPA), and Associated General
Contractors (AGC).
